Session #1 – Your Basic Training and Battle Plan

In this session you’ll discover essential skills you can put into practice right away. Nothing will happen if you do nothing, but taking some basic action steps can help you move forward quickly. You’ll tap into the healing value of a safe community of support, exercise, a financial tune-up, setting boundaries and many other fundamental tools. There are things you can begin to do today that will help you feel better soon.
Session #3 – The Role of Shame
Shame is a major factor in many people’s struggle with anxiety and depression. Often, we’re haunted by shaming voices from our past and we can eventually become our harshest self-critic. This CD will help you sort out fact from fiction and move toward accurate thinking. We’ll track the roots of your shame and run them through a “truth filter.” We’ll also address the Christian church’s stance on anxiety and depression and some of the shaming statements that have occasionally come from leaders and others within the church.
Session #4 – Your Relationships, Family and Work
If you’re struggling with anxiety and depression all of your relationships are affected. The tendency to withdraw and isolate separates us healthy and helpful interaction. On this CD we’ll examine just how your relationships, family and work are affected and what you can do to embrace hope and healing – for you and those around you.
Session #5 – What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do
Many depression and anxiety sufferers find themselves stuck “between a rock and a hard place.” They know what they’re doing isn’t helping and don’t know what to do. Or, they can’t summon the energy to do what they know would be helpful. On this CD we’ll outline specific things you can do – and some specific things you want to avoid.
Session #6 – Achieving Final Victory
On this final CD of the Boot Camp series, we’ll wrap up our discussions with 14 practical and essential “action steps” for achieving lasting victory over anxiety and depression. We’ll discover a key component that weaves its way into every aspect of our battle strategy.
